DoGgiE Day Care

Dear Mom,
Today was my first day on the farm- I met Jennine for the first time. She woke me up- and told Hailey later that she was worried that I was DEAD! huh?! Hailey fed me cookies this morning before work and then left me to play with Robert and the rest of the doggies. At lunch Hailey came by to say hello, she greeted me on the porch where I was resting with Duke in front of the screen- because the air conditioning in the house feels so nice! It is hot in California! Robert told on me- he said that I kept trying to make a run for it into the house... SoRrY MoM- but I don't like this new rule- NO ANIMALS IN THE HOUSE! Hailey and Robert went to eat lunch and I hung out with Arica- Robert's sister, and the new puppy dog- she's very small- like Madison, but a dog. When they got back Hailey had a photo session with us while we played on the lawn with our babysitters during the day- Robert and Arica. Then she had to go back to work. While she was gone- Robert took me on my first trip to the Napa River! What a glorious place! I splished and splashed and got my belly and feet wet. It felt very nice because of the heat- it was 96 degrees outside! We rested around the table near the bird cages- TheY ARe SO CRAZY- until Hailey got off of work. When she did, she gave me a big bowl of crushed ice- mmmm! She is the best! Then she cleaned my dog kennel and set it up in the dog pin next to the puppy's. Then Robert, Hailey and I went to the store, Cal- Mart- Robert is the fastest grochery shopper EVeR! Then I got to go to Aunt Meg & Uncle John's house for a SLEEPOVER- YES! Robert was afraid Puka and Skye wouldn't like me, so I got to hang out in Hailey's room while they made dinner and watched True Blood. Then Hailey came to bed and said she worried about me all night because of my panting... WHAT?! It was hott! - Well at least to me it was! Write later!
i luv You Ma!

I MADE IT!

Dear Mom,
I made it to cALiFoRniA! I rode on 2 AiRpLanes to get here, and I even saw "La La Land"- for longer than I had hoped- we were stuck there for 2 hours! I was so excited to see Hailey when she found me at the "Odd Sized Luggage" department. I was so anxious to get out- I held it for 5 hours! Hailey was being retarded, and couldn't get the zip ties clipped with her keys-finally, Robert arrived. I rode on a cart to "Baggage Claim 4" where all of the illegal traveling materials are kept and he gave Hailey wire cutters- FINALLY I was free, but Robert made me wait until we were outside to put me on the leash! Then Hailey, Robert and I walked to the shuttle bus to "Long Term Parking." I couldn't find any grass at the San Francisco Airport- so concrete had to do. Hailey was embarrassed so she sheilded me with her luggage, while Robert laughed. When the shuttle finally arrived, the driver said that I had to get BACK IN THE CRATE! Can you believe that? I was complaining, and I think the bus driver got the clue, he let Hailey take me out of my crate when we got close to the Parking Garage and hold me. Then Hailey and I went to find- THE MUSTANG! I loved that car, it smelled so familiar! I got to sit in the passenger seat while we drove to pick up Robert, who had stayed to get all of the luggage off of the shuttle. Then he packed it, while Hailey and I walked around. He tried to put me in the crate- but Hailey let me sit in the front with them- Robert has a comfy lap! I wasn't prepared to drive another hour and half home- so we stopped in Pinole- outside of San Francisco to get some dinner and take a pit stop. Hailey orderd the food, while Robert took me to the grass. Then Hailey and I shared a hamburger- mmm! I was so happy. When we got back in the car- I stood on Hailey's lap the whole way home- I crossed a bridge over the bay! I have never seen so much water! After that it was very dark so I layed down next to Roberts feet to take a nap. When we finally arrived at Robert's farm- I was greeted by my new friends- Duke and Checkers- well I don't know if Duke is my friend, but we hang out at the farm. They must be really jealous of my sweet fluffy coat, because they sure did bark when I arrived. Then, it was back to the crate in the huge shop- but not before I left Bob- my new landlord a little treat on the floor. Robert was too tired to clean it up, so he left it there with a shop towel on top until the morning. Then I went fast asleep! Write later!
LoVe Ewe, MOm! :)
